Hello everyone, This is an update regarding the unfortunate incident with $PMG on August 20th and share the current situation and future steps.Firstly, on August 20th, approximately 1.8 million $PMG from the Pomerium Foundation's MEXC account was sold at a limit price of $0.001. At the time of the incident, the MEXC login was traced back to Amsterdam, Netherlands. It's important to note that Netherlands has no affiliation with the Pomerium Foundation.Following this, someone purchased a large amount of $PMG at a lower price, resulting in around 1.5 million PMG being withdrawn from the exchange between the 20th and the 22nd. The Pomerium team requested cooperation from MEXC regarding this incident. However, no actions have been taken to identify the owner of the account responsible for withdrawing $PMG from MEXC or to freeze the account. $PMG that has been withdrawn from MEXC continues to be sold on decentralized exchanges like Pancake Swap. In light of this, we kindly ask $PMG holders and members of the Pomerium community to transfer their $PMG stored on MEXC to Pomerium Wallet, Bitget, Metamask, or other wallets.We will keep you informed about the steps and responses that will be taken in the future.
